Step: 1 Select the name of the company

Step: 2 Reserving a name of the company

Before registering the company in companies office, you have to reserve the name of the company. You have to pay proposed fee with the application. Currently, the fee is $11.50 including GST.

Step: 3 Applying to register your proposed Company

The next step is to apply for the registration. If your proposed or reserved company name has been accepted then one or two or more person can apply for the registration along with the following documents.

• A written consent from every director
• A written consent from every shareholder
• A notification of the reserved company name
• A ready copy of the company’s constitution if any
• The prescribed fee –Currently, total fee is $120.75 including FMA levy, Company incorporation fee and External Reporting board (XRB) levy.

Certificate of Incorporation:

After fulfilling all requirements of registration, you will get notification that your company is now incorporated so from now onwards your company is incorporated under Companies Act 1993 from the date stated in the certificate.
